International Women Coffee Alliance in Brazil

On October 7th and 8th, the 6th Space Café Brazil in Sao Paulo hosted the First Meeting of the International Women Coffee Alliance (IWCA). About 60 women, between growers, industrial, baristas and coffee lovers from different parts of the country were gathered in order to sow the seed of the Alliance on Brazilian soil.
At the meeting, signed a letter of intent to the beginning of the Brazilian chapter, and the coffee of Manhumirim, Josiane Cotrim Macieira, was elected president of the initiative in Brazil.
